ENTERTAINMENT NEWS

The 159th Stark County Fair will have an array of entertainment to offer fair-goers during the seven days of the fair. There will be many musical concerts, harness racing, tractor and truck pulls, rodeo, demolition derby and other on grounds free shows.

Plan to see the traditional STARK COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL BAND SHOW on Tuesday, August 26 at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m.  The two shows are always exciting and the crowds fill the grandstand.

A fun KARAOKE SHOW will take place in the pavilion at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday night.

After many requests, we will feature Mike Albert’s  “ULTIMATE TRIBUTE SHOW” with the Big E Band in the grandstand on Wednesday, August 27 at 8:00 p.m. Mike is known for his portrayal of Elvis Presley.  All seats are reserved.

Spot-lighting the entertainment this year is a rising country artist  He is scheduled in the grandstand on Thursday, August 28 at 8:00 p.m.  All seats are reserved.

The DEL RICCO’S “OLDIES SHOW” will take place in the pavilion on Friday night August 29 at 8:00 p.m.

Saturday night, August 30, TERRY LEE GOFFEE will present
“THE ULTIMATE TRIBUTE TO JOHNNY CASH” in the pavilion.

Returning this year will be MONUMENT QUARTET. They will bring a high energy show with their variety of humor, country, patriotic and gospel music.  They are known for their Statler Brothers music. They will perform Sunday, August 31 for a 3:00 p.m. and a 7:00 p.m. show in the pavilion.

After an absence for a number of years, the always popular ‘VOGUES” will be performing in the pavilion for two shows on Monday, September 1 at 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.

The fair winds down with the every popular DEMOLITION DERBY on Labor Day night at 7:30 p.m. in the grandstand. All seats are reserved.

Free on grounds shows are featured every day of the fair and performed several times each day.  Special this year is the ‘BIG CAT ENCOUNTER “ featuring Siberian and Royal Bengal tigers.  They are magnificent exotic felines.  This is an exciting family show.

Also each day, the Victoria Circus performers will exhibit their outstanding talents.
